The Initiative

Teikei Cacao is an initiative based on what is known as “Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)”. We connect cacao producers directly with cacao consumers. A consumer cooperative is formed which finances shares of a producer´s harvest. Thus, fair and direct accords are created.

Cacao producers face numerous economic, social and environmental challenges which threaten their traditional lifestyles. Through CSA we support their way of life and we share their cacao harvest, including the risks.
